If you are looking for a printer that you can de facto pop into your pocket so you can print your shots on the move, the Polaroid Cza-20011B PoGo Photo printer does just that. It is capable of producing borderless prints on paper that is 2 inches by 3 inches. Prints arrive dry to the touch so they won't smudge and at 60 seconds per print, you can swiftly and de facto share your photos with your friends and house wherever you are, on holiday, at weddings, concerts, birthday parties and so on. You will never run out of ink as the PoGo uses Zink technology meaning zero ink is used. It can do this because there are special dye crystals embedded in the paper which react with heat to produce your prints. It is so small it can sit in the palm of your hand and weighs just 8 ounces, including the (rechargeable) battery. You can associate any PictBridge enabled camera and most cell phones but be sure to check that the PoGo is compatible with your make and model. Photograph capability is probably not the many but at the ludicrously low price Polaroid are asking, it is worth owning one just for the fun of it!
A second selection is the Polaroid P-500Ir Digital Photo Printer which weighs colse to 18 ounces and prints on paper that is 2.5 x 4.4 inches, just the right size to tuck into your wallet or purse. Other benefits are the fact that it can resize Jpg files from any digital camera and print singular or complicated copies of a photo so you can give the same image to several friends without resetting the printer. It is compatible with Cf and Sm cards but not that cards that are 64 Mb or larger will not work.. Cheap and comes with a pack of paper - a great trade all round.
Polaroid Printer
If you are looking for slightly bigger prints, then the Polaroid P310 conveyable 4x6 Photo Printer might be suitable and will produce good capability prints, although a microscopic on the slow side. Note that you cannot print from your computer with this printer but need to use the Usb interface or have a camera with PictBridge capability. Actual size is 8.3 x 10.8 x 5.6 inches and it weighs about 9 pounds so de facto conveyable and costs less than 100 Us dollars so within most people's budget.
